The question everyone asks about developing a network based business is : "Should I build "wider" or should I build "deeper"?"

There is no answer to this that will be right for everyone.

Wide for strength but deep for power

There are network marketers out there who simply sponsor, sponsor and sponsor some more to develop a high number (width) in their first level. They let the downline development take care of itself, although they may encourage their first level downline to  imitate them by sponsoring (or introducing to the business) as many new independent distributors as possible. That's fine if this is replicated all the way through the downline and a huge business could develop. There's also the advantage that if one independent distributor drops out he or she may represent only a very small proportion of the first level downline. However, you are unlikely to develop a strongly based business by relying on personal sponsorship of first level downline subscribers.

How many people do you know? Now, qualify that by considering how many people you know that may be interested in either our tipping service and/or the business opportunity. If they are interested only in the tipping service they may subscribe, after a while unsubscribe and then later they may subscribe back in again. OK, you'll generate a few pence income from them and a high number of this type of subscriber may earn you a few pounds but they do little to develop your solidly based passive income stream. To maintain any sort of worthwhile level of income by relying on your personal introductions to the business you would need to sponsor hundreds. In the "perfect five" table on the business opportunity page there are only five in your first level downline but the total downline is 3,905! Could you introduce 3,905 loyal (that is, more or less permanent) subscribers to the business? Very few could! Where the strength of the business may come from width the power and permanence comes from building in depth.

How do you do this?

If you are interested in our tipping service and business opportunity, among your family, friends and acquaintances there will undoubtedly be others who will be interested in either or both. Those you already know are where you can start building your first level downline.

E-mail them a link to this website to get them interested, ensuring you include a note of your mobile number for them to enter in the sponsor link box on the registration form just in case they're so impressed they register straight away!

Hire a room at a local hotel or other suitable venue. Many will let you a room for a couple of hours very cheaply, or cordon off part of a public area for you to use, if they think there may be additional trade for them to come from those attending your meeting. Invite anyone you think may be interested and ask them to bring a friend. Put on a few bottles of wine and nibbles to get them there. Present the tipping service and the business opportunity to them.

When you invite them ask them to bring their mobile 'phone with them and ensure any guest(s) do too. This will enable them to text to subscribe to the service there and then and you can register them as an independent distributor at the same time. Don't upset anyone by sponsoring their guest yourself. Our commission structure is such that you receive the same amount for everyone in your downline whether sponsored by you personally or whether sponsored by those in the first four levels of the downline. It is no different to you whether you have personally sponsored the new independent distributor or someone in that downline has.

We'd also be happy to attend or arrange for one of our experienced independent distributors to attend your first meeting(s) to assist you with the presentation and explain any matters upon which you or your audience may be unclear. Those you sponsor as a result of the presentations will learn from you. After a while you'll be able to invite participation from your downline in running the events and they may even put on their own!

This really is the way to develop a strongly based passive income. You develop your business by helping others develop theirs and showing them the techniques involved. They in turn teach their downline and so on developing a wide and deep business which could generate a significant income.

It can be good fun too!

Our message really is that yes, you should sponsor into your first level downline as much as possible. This will give breadth (and strength) to your business. It is, however, the depth that builds the real power that generates the "leverage" that escalates your income. You therefore need to work with your first level downline, and perhaps the second, to ensure that you, and they, build in depth.

Why the sixth level is important to you!

You may think that because you are paid to the fifth level that you should do all you can to ensure new subscribers to the service are attached to your fourth level or above.

This definitely is a false strategy. It relies on those levels becoming exceptionally wide and you will find that there is a high level of drop out in the fifth level - where the power of the "perfect five" matrix really shows - and the commitment from all levels is compromised.

You need to ensure that your fifth level is solid (as are the levels above them) which you will do only by continuing to encourage all levels to build in depth. In this way your fifth level will remain committed and you will develop a solidly based, passive income by taking advantage of the power generated by building in depth.
